Industry: Industrial Manufacturing

According to Jillian Evanko, the most effective way to remain effective regardless of industry is to continue to learn from experiences, be open to diverse perspectives and surround yourself with people who challenge you. “By accepting and learning from your experiences, you can help shape the future, but it cannot be done alone,” Evanko said. “Being adaptable, flexible and agile allows for a variety of different approaches to a problem so maintaining a culture that fosters entrepreneurial thinking and behavior within our corporate boundaries is a key part of our mindset to be in a market leading position.”

Under her direction since 2017, after an extensive 20-year career as a leader, Evanko has fostered a team geared toward success and positioned Chart Industries Inc. as a market leader.

Chart Industries Inc. is a leading provider of technology, highly engineered equipment and services related to liquefied natural gas, hydrogen, biogas and carbon capture amongst many other applications. The unique product portfolio is used in every phase of the liquid gas supply chain, including upfront engineering, service and repair.

As CEO and President, Evanko has strategically repositioned Chart Industries as a key beneficiary of the clean energy transition by capitalizing on the company’s core competencies and making key investments in areas lacking, while exiting non-core product lines. She has also added key products and processes, entered into new geographic markets, streamlined the business units and integrated certain functions so as to operate seamlessly as one global organization.

These efforts have involved targeted organic and inorganic initiatives, which included more than $1 billion in acquisitions and investments along with almost $500 million in divestitures, with 14 transactions of some sort in just the last year alone.

Her contributions have led to being named the CEO Today Global Awards Winner, the World LNG Awards Winner and the Chief Trailblazer of the Year by ExxonMobile Power Play Awards.

“Ms. Evanko has worked tirelessly to not only enhance shareholder value, but to do so with an emphasis on corporate responsibility, spearheading initiatives and formalizing policies that will cement the company’s position as a model corporate citizen,” said her staff. “These are based on the core belief that responsibility for the environment, employees and the global communities we touch are inextricably linked with financial performance and our reputation.”

For her commitment to fostering a team and company toward success, Evanko has been named a Titan.
