Jason Cherveny left the security of a stable job and salary to venture out with his own technology and IT solutions company, Sanity Solutions.
“Day one was easily the largest risk in building Sanity Solutions,” he said. Leaving his previous position “for the journey of forging a new path from the beginning was a leap of blind faith to say the least. Every decision along the way has had at least some risk involved; hiring a new employee, expanding lines of business, opening new territories or setting ambitious growth goals all have an influence on the success, or lack thereof, of the business. Entrepreneurship is certainly not for the faint of heart but as the saying goes, ‘No risk, no reward.’”
Headquartered in Denver since 2004, Sanity Solutions specializes in services for clients’ IT and data management needs. “We take a personalized approach by identifying unique business needs and creating strategic goals and technical solutions to maximize investments and results,” the company said. “Sanity’s mission is to create distinctive value for our clients by providing a legendary customer experience, working with our clients to create solutions that best serve their unique environments while conducting corporate activities to the highest ethical and professional standards. We create a mutually rewarding environment for all of our stakeholders.”
Under Cherveny’s leadership, Sanity Solutions has been able to accelerate revenue and growth despite persistent supply chain issues in the technology sector. Sanity adopted improvements in operational processes, including adjustments in its financial management. In 2023, Sanity Solutions plans to increase head count in several departments, even as many tech companies are cutting jobs and laying off employees, The company is also adding to its services lines.
“Through a growing professional services department, Sanity plans to add additional options for customers, including more managed services, easier processes, designated staffing and more visibility,” the company said. “New offerings will allow customers to access technologies at better price points with more budget flexibility.”
Cherveny has been named a titan for the second time, and he values the chance to develop the next generation of business leaders.
In 2022, Cherveny volunteered as a judge for a local Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) chapter. As a judge, he contributed time to hear business cases, listen to public speaking and observe other business-minded skills presented by high school club members and provide feedback. These clubs and chapters offer students a chance to explore what it takes to succeed in the business world. Cherveny’s company offers each employee two paid workdays a year to volunteer for an organization or community project.
“During the 2022 holiday season, a large group of employees organized a service day at the Ronald McDonald House of Denver serving families with seriously ill children,” the company said. “As a company, Sanity tracks volunteer days and employee involvement then shares collective contributions during staff meetings and end of year events.”
