Like many young professionals, Eve Clines career journey started in a different profession. After graduating college with a degree in social work, she initially ventured into counseling but soon realized it wasnt her calling. Embracing change, Cline transitioned into marketing, where she found her passion ignited.
Her career flourished as she honed her skills in technology and marketing, securing positions at Ideal Consulting, ePartners, and Enevate, with accolades for several firms including Microsoft global partner of the year and numerous placements on top 100 VARs.
In the last four years at Enavate, Cline has been a part of the executive leadership team that has grown the company from $14 million to $77 million. In her current role as chief experience officer, she leads the teams responsible for Enavates people, including talent acquisition, leadership development and HR operations. Cline also drives the client experience strategy, ensuring alignment with the products and offerings brought to market.
Eve has given Enavate direction toward being the successful company we have become, said her colleagues. Her experience in the HR, marketing, and sales arena has been a beacon for us and with her vast experience has given us the leadership to navigate to our vision.
Leadership must be an empowering experience, said Cline. A successful leader is empowering, empathetic, listens, is transparent, provides coaching when needed, and holds themself and others accountable, she said. A successful leader also isn’t afraid to make decisions, especially the tough ones.
Cline is passionate about mentoring and coaching other professionals. I am always happy to help a student fresh out of college, a colleague starting a business or a team member that just needs a little direction, she said. As a member of the WIT Network (Women in Technology), Cline presents on diversity and inclusion, how to acquire and retain top talent and her experiences with building team cultures.
Whether she is leading or mentoring, Cline said her superpower is strong common sense and judgment. I find that Im able to make thoughtful decisions and offer practical advice, which helps me and those around me navigate challenges more smoothly.
