As the co-founder and chief executive officer of DAS Technology, Alexi Venneri relies on empathy, adaptability and integrity to lead her team. “Empathy allows leaders to understand and support their team truly, adaptability helps them thrive amid constant change and integrity builds the trust essential for lasting success,” she said.

As a two-time Titan 100, Venneri has focused on growth and relies on her superpower to find ways to look around corners and visualize multiple paths forward in any situation. “I’m a very driven, creative leader who encourages option thinking with our whole team,” said Venneri. “This has helped me immensely at DAS Technology, where I started a company from nothing during the recession and even grew it during the pandemic.”

DAS Technology is a leading SaaS consumer engagement technology company that helps consumers have a better experience by assisting retailers in leveraging innovative communication platforms more efficiently and helpfully. DAS Technology features the automotive industry’s first next-level Consumer Data & Experience Platform® (CDXP), enabling over 9,200 retailers, partners, and OEMs to increase consumer response and lead conversions by leveraging patented AI-powered digital technology and generating measurable ROI.

This year was pivotal for the company as Digital Air Strike rebranded to DAS Technology to reflect its expanded technology solutions and unique capabilities. The company also completed its ninth acquisition to enhance AI and data mining capabilities. The firm was awarded the 2024 NADA Show’s Exhibitor Pitch Competition with its CDXP technology, too, under Venneri’s leadership, and has been certified as a Great Place to Work since 2017.

“It’s been a transformative, record-breaking growth year, capped by a 120% year-over-year increase in dealer and OEM subscription growth and a slew of recognitions,” said Venneri.

The growth prompted Venneri to look for ways to improve her employees’ experience and help them grow their DAS careers. “Culture is important to me and a big focus of DAS Technology,” she said. After this year’s acquisition, Venneri said leadership revisited career pathing, assessed training needs, and provided more individual coaching and mentoring.

Venneri is a strong believer in mentorship and has joined the Young Presidents’ Organization, an organization of CEOs who connect to share best practices. For the past 14 years, her firm has hosted multiple interns each year, giving high school and college students part-time opportunities in entry-level positions. Looking forward, the company will introduce an opportunity for international graduates to spend a year with DAS on a one-year exchange Visa.

“DAS is committed to empowering employees to develop new ideas, solutions and features for the office,” said Venneri. “Training is essential.”
