Bryan Eberson, the founder of Eberson Construction, was raised around the construction industry as a fourth-generation contractor, with a true passion for entrepreneurship. Eberson said he learned from a young age how to perform most aspects of construction and fell in love with the industry.
Upon graduating from college, Eberson worked for a global engineering firm and started performing construction projects for clients in his spare time. His vision slowly grew as he took on larger and larger construction projects. It became visible that running a business was his true passion and Eberson Construction evolved.
Eberson Construction is a luxury home construction and remodeling firm with a mission to improve the communities in which the company operates by offering quality workmanship, respecting the trades, and most importantly, providing a great experience for its employees and clients.
Within two years, under Eberson’s leadership, the firm grew to a size of 21 people with a design department, a construction department, and in-house crews with best-in-class local tradesmen and women for excavation, framing, and finish carpentry. The firm has worked with other general contractors to create a community of business owners who work together to solve problems.
“I believe strongly in making genuine connections with other businesses that take pride in their work, and hold strong core values,” said Eberson. “I continue to grow this company with the very beliefs instilled in me as a child: a strong respect for the trades and the goal to make a positive impact not only on your team members but the communities that you serve.”
As a result, Eberson began as a handyman company that performed small tasks for locals to a seven-figure business over the course of three years. The firm was selected as the general contractor of choice for Northern Arizona to be featured on the HGTV show “Hometown Kickstart,” leading a restaurant and kitchen remodel for an important small town in need of a makeover.
As a leader, Eberson is committed to mentoring and has continued to hire based on core values while creating a “Carpenter Track” which is an organized system for young tradesmen and women to work through. They are trained by mentors who have a passion for teaching and passing on their skill sets.
“I believe some of the most important attributes of leadership is the ability to listen to others, gather as much information as possible, and then make decisions,” said Eberson. “We are only as strong as those around us, so surround yourself with great people who excel in different attributes to create a well-balanced team that you can lead.”
