Chanie Gluck began her first entrepreneurial journey over 20 years ago when she launched 4D Medical in 2002 when she was 24 years old. She sold that business in late 2015 to launch 4D Global after traveling to India to develop operational efficiencies through offshore operations and discovering the talented medical billing labor pool.
She decided then that she would start her own employee-centric BPO in India with excellent company culture, and that is precisely what she did. 4D Global is a medical billing firm with a mission to trust and empower its people to collaborate with clients to deliver exceptional and resolution-based healthcare billing solutions.
In the last four years, under Gluck’s leadership, 4D Global has been named the great place to work in India two times and achieved the Inc. 5000 list as one of the fastest-growing companies in America. 4D Global was also recognized as a great place to work and the best workplace for women and made it to the Inc. Regionals Southwest list as one of the fastest-growing companies in February 2023.
Gluck has been voted the next 1,000 CEOs to watch by Forbes Magazine and voted inspiring CEOs in 2021 by Insights Magazine. She also received the 2022 enterprising women of the year award in Miami and is now an advisory board member of Enterprising Women.
As a leader, Gluck said she relies on adaptability, empathy and visionary thinking. “We never know what the next disruption will be, but as leaders, we need to be prepared to guide our teams forward,” she said. “Empathy is more critical than ever to build relationships with a combination of in-office, hybrid, remote, fractional and offshore staff.”
If she had to name a secret superpower, Gluck said it’s her ability to connect with people regardless of their background, ethnicity or location around the globe. “I have a natural ability to create communities and connect with individuals, whether it’s for professional purposes or creating a community of friends,” she said. “I love taking the time to understand people’s desires and then help them make meaningful connections that help them achieve their goals.”
This ability extends to building trust and loyalty inside her company. “We strive to inspire others to rally around a shared vision and foster an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and understood,” said Gluck.
