Jason Fischbeck’s entrepreneurial journey is a testament to seizing opportunities and following one’s passion. It all began with a decision to purchase a TV as a newly married couple. As they perused the TV options, it became apparent that Fischbeck and his wife held different priorities. His wife surveyed the sales aisles while Fischbeck set his sights on new models. This experience planted the seed for his entrepreneurial journey with the prospect of transforming homes into state-of-the-art entertainment spaces.
With a loan from his father and unwavering determination, Automated Environments LLC, was born. Automated Environments LLC, is a leader in the audio/video and smart electronics industry with a mission to build relationships of trust, and to enhance, connect, and simplify life with modern technologies and innovative solutions.
With over three decades of experience, and a team with well over 150 years of combined experience and knowledge, Fischbeck has seen, and most likely, installed it all. “Fischbeck’s trajectory from an enthusiastic entrepreneur to a trailblazer in his industry exemplifies his commitment to innovation and excellence,” said his staff.
Under his leadership, the company has evolved from a local business to a national collaborator, with a niche in virtual support, design and mobile installations. Fischbeck’s technical acumen, backed by numerous certifications from industry giants Lutron and Crestron, allows him to not only adapt to but also set future trends.
His experience and drive have led to top marks in industry awards and recognition, including continued top 100 CE PRO integrator and mentions in Architectural Digest, Build Magazine, Southwest Style Magazine, and CE Pro.
As a leader, Fischbeck said it’s important to always look for the positive in stressful situations. “No matter the issue, there are always silver linings to be found if you have the proper perspective,” he said. “You need to find joy in everything you do.”
He is also a leader willing to get his hands dirty. “I love going to a job site as a technician, where I can have fun challenging the younger guys with speed and accuracy, building confidence by interacting one-on-one,” said Fischbeck. “It’s important to stay connected as a team and see firsthand the processes and services we offer from everyone’s viewpoint.”
What truly sets Fischbeck apart, said his staff, is the company culture he has established. “He has a foundational belief in integrity and the importance of client satisfaction and team happiness over mere financial gains,” they said. “Jason’s legacy in the A/V industry extends beyond just technological solutions; it is also reflected in the robust, ethical and client-focused business model he champions.”
