Over the past year since he was named a Titan 100, Joshua Farley said his greatest leadership lesson has been the importance of fostering an environment where his team feels empowered to move without fear. “This realization has underscored the crucial need for clear and well-defined systems within our organization, and I’ve come to understand that having a proven process documented and consistently followed by every team member is truly a game changer,” said Farley.

As the president of Redline Electric & Solar Inc. and a leader in the industry, Farley said he strives to focus on driving growth and staying ahead of market changes.

Redline Electric & Solar Inc. is a full-service electrical and solar contractor serving all of Arizona. Founded in 2009, the company prides itself on serving both commercial and residential clients while staying within its niche of electrical service in existing homes and businesses.

This year, the company was named to the Inc. 5000 list for the fourth time in a row under Farley’s leadership. “It’s a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, as well as the support of our customers and partners,” he said. “Making the list once is great but hitting it for the fourth time in a row really shows our consistency and growth.”

As a leader, Farley said that willpower is his strength that gives him an advantage. He also strives to embrace vision, personal growth and strategic thinking. “Successful leaders are leading by example and taking responsibility for their actions,” he said. “They empower their teams through trust and delegation, make decisive choices confidently, and inspire and motivate others to create a positive work environment.”

In addition to leading the firm, Farley has continued his mentorship efforts. He is actively involved in organizations such as the Entrepreneurs’ Organization and serves as a mentor of the organization’s Accelerator Program. Farley and his staff also volunteer at Feed My Starving Children multiple times a year.

Mentorship is not just about imparting information; it’s about providing support, encouragement and guidance to help mentees realize their full potential, said Farley. “Fostering an environment for the next generations of titans is a responsibility I take to heart, and I’ve pursued various avenues to contribute to this cause,” he said. “It’s been incredibly fulfilling to see the growth and development of others; witnessing their progress, overcoming obstacles and achieving their goals is a tangible measure of the impact of mentorship.”
