In 2009, Mark Becker started doing business with Amazon and he saw a gap in the logistics and distribution capabilities manufacturers had doing business. He quickly saw the void and started Geneva10 Fulfillment to help manufacturers set up and sell their products on Amazon.
Geneva10’s primary industry is warehousing, fulfillment and online marketing with a mission to helping customers scale by being a leader in retail fulfillment, providing customized, proactive and agile systems integration and fulfillment technology and data-driven analysis.
What began as a 10,000-square foot airplane hanger led to a sales funnel that led to generating 50 percent year over year revenue increases over the last 14 years. “We have completed over 1,000 projects for Amazon all with the same main goal to increase sales, selection and profitability,” said Becker.
The success is attributed to Becker’s persistence and dedication. “What makes Mark a titan in eCommerce fulfillment and marketing starts with the knowledge he gained by building a company from the ground up, launching the company at a time when Amazon was transforming from the bookstore to the everything store and his 14 years of experience working with hundreds of different brands and partnering with them to increase their online sales,” said his staff.
Becker began by wearing all the different hats it takes to make a company operate – from shipping billing, HR and IT to sales and marketing. The genesis of the company was a distinctive entrepreneurial venture and one that Becker has embraced.
“From my vantage point, effective leadership transcends a rigid adherence to a single style; rather, it involves a nuanced understanding of the prevailing circumstances and an ability to adapt one’s approach accordingly,” said Becker. “Over the years, my own leadership style has undergone a dynamic evolution, intricately tailored to meet the exigencies of our growing organization.”
Becker said that is drive to work hard is deeply ingrained in his upbringing. “My grandfather was a farmer in Cambria, Wisconsin, and I cherish the memories of spending a week at the farm each summer with my brothers,” he said. “Witnessing my grandpa’s unwavering dedication to hard work as he fixed tractors, assisted in calf deliveries, and displayed remarkable problem-solving abilities was profoundly inspiring.”
It’s his upbringing that fuels his fervor to construct and attain success, he said. “Geneva10 has provided me with a platform to channel this drive and transform my work into a genuine passion,” said Becker. “My true passion lies in the act of building, of creating something greater.”
This passion has led to Becker’s appointment as a Titan 100.
