In 2018, when the blockchain technology hype cycle was building, Michael Adam created a blockchain-based data verification protocol that would become ADAM Aerospace’s core product. While many corporate executives thought blockchain was a solution looking for a problem, Adam knew that his new technology could change the landscape in how the world verifies and instantaneously audits critical data.
Within the first year in business, this tech was validated by the Department of Defense, and ADAM won its first defense contract. ADAM Aerospace is an aviation and aerospace firm providing the most advanced cyber and AI technology to United States warfighters.
Under Adam’s leadership, ADAM Aerospace has grown its United States defense contracts significantly over the past three years, winning multiple contracts with the U.S. Air Force, Space Force and Air Guard. These contracts all revolve around blockchain based data verification and span across multiple technical use cases. ADAM is the first and only company in the world to have a certified blockchain technology in the U.S. Defense Information Systems Agency (“DISA”) vendor program.
“Michael is the visionary and architect of all of ADAM’s products, and he thinks big and builds bigger,” said his staff. “He is a true visionary founder, with the ability to lead and scale.”
In addition to his role in steering R&D and product growth, Adam is also responsible for the overall operations of ADAM Aerospace. Adam has led ADAM to being the fastest growing defense contractor in the State of Wisconsin (per number of new contracts) and is already considered a prime defense contractor.
In the near future ADAM Aerospace aims to elevate to a congressional Program of Record for its work in advanced technologies. ADAM also has its sights on space, bringing our proven technology beyond our atmosphere.
In 2024, Adam was awarded the fire award for tech companies with rapid scale and the innovation and entrepreneurship award for innovative tech firms. Most recently, Adam and his team competed at the space and defense forum at South By Southwest in Austin, TX, where they won best integrated system and cyber solution and best innovative technology.
“To reignite my passion, I remind myself who we are innovating for – The United States and Allied Warfighters,” said Adam. “With that in mind, it’s easy to continuously innovate and improve.”
In addition to his roles at ADAM, Michael sits on multiple boards, including roles as chairman of Innovation Range, a board member of the Defense X Technology Navigator, and a board member at the Marquette University Business School.
