Recognizing 100 CEOs & C-level Executives

Patrick Booth

Chief Executive Officer

CCB Technology

Location: Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin

Founded: 1991

Industry: Information Technology & Services

In 2013, Patrick Booth had the vision to create a company culture that would allow people to thrive while feeling empowered by management at CCB Technology. “I wanted to give people a sense of purpose and belonging, so we defined our mission and launched EOS internally to bring more focus as a leadership group,” said Booth. “This decision was made by me because I knew we needed to focus on people, tools and processes.”

The hardest part he didn’t expect was having to let go of the reins, but finding his replacement as president of the company is what the Titan 100 Hall of Famer now sees as his proudest accomplishment.

CCB Technology has a mission to help clients achieve their goals and dreams through technology. The firm’s IT solutions and services include software/hardware, cloud-managed services, project services, security, help desk backup, disaster recovery and infrastructure management.

Under Booth’s leadership as chief executive officer, his focus in the past few years has been on creating a positive, supportive culture where employees feel good about where they work, which overflows to the customers. “I am proud to be a second-generation owner of this family business that started in 1991, and seeing the executives lead the employees brings me great joy to know the tradition continues at CCB,” he said. ”We lead with our hearts, and our people follow us to conquer our goals each day.”

In order for CCB to hit its goals, Booth said the firm must focus on growing. “Growth can come in many waves, but it is always better to have a team working together with the same mindset,” he said. “We want to grow by helping our clients reach their full potential.”

Looking forward, Booth said the company plans to grow managed services, create IT CCB hubs and locations around the U.S., acquire other MSPs, and gain national MSP recognition. Booth will also continue his podcast “The Impact of Leadership.”

“Leaders control the speed of the business, and if things are out of control, slow it down,” said Booth. “If things are not moving fast enough, push down the pedal to get everyone moving. It can be scary but trust your gut on how to lead your team and control the speed of the business.”

When it comes to leaving a legacy, Booth said that life is short, and you only get one shot at it. “My Dad told me to make a living, but don’t forget to live a life,” he said. “No one drifts into excellence and together, we can grow as leaders for work and home.”
