Tom Frank’s career began with a solid foundation in both sales and commercial roles, gaining diverse and invaluable experience in injection molding and blow molding across various sectors such as automotive, power sports, power tools and packaging.
Leveraging his extensive experience in the plastics industry, Frank took on a senior leadership role at Schoeneck Containers approximately a decade ago. “Tom’s transition into leadership was marked by a clear vision for growth and innovation,” said his staff.
As Schoeneck Containers transitioned and rebranded to Radius Packaging, a plastic packaging firm, in 2022, Frank assumed the role of president and chief executive officer.
Under his guidance, the company has diversified its offerings to include injection molded closures and containers, labeling, and design services, aligning with customer needs and market demands.
A landmark achievement for Frank began in 2017 when he spearheaded the strategic initiative to support future growth through the development of a cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Delavan, Wisconsin. Completed in 2019, this state-of-the-art facility embodies a significant leap in manufacturing excellence, featuring highly automated technology capable of producing over 500,000 bottles per day with minimal human intervention.

This vision has led to various accolades for the company, including recognition of excellence for blow molding from the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE), supplier excellence awards from multiple customers, and a local business technology investment award. This year, Radius was honored as a top workplace by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and was a finalist for the Wisconsin manufacturer of the year in 2024.
While these external recognitions are significant, Frank takes particular pride in the culture and internal team he has fostered at Radius Packaging. “Tom is committed to maintaining a positive workplace culture that supports continuous improvement and leverages technology to enhance operations,” said his staff. “This environment motivates the team to make impactful contributions both within the industry and the broader community.”
