Adam Eiseman launched his business in 1995 from humble beginnings in a fifth-floor apartment. Today, The Lloyd Group has grown to become one of the largest privately owned managed service providers focused on the small and medium-sized business market.
Eiseman started his career by developing and selling software and exploring various business ventures. He soon realized that his true calling was to create a company where people could find fulfillment and build meaningful careers. The Lloyd Group became a community, a place for entrepreneurial spirits to come together and collaborate with like-minded individuals.
“In 2002 we made the decision to move from a more traditional business model to a forward- thinking one,” Eiseman said. “We developed a three-year plan to transition our clients, no matter how much revenue they were generating, that did not fit the new model. This discipline allowed us to become a leader in the space.”
The Lloyd Group offers a range of IT managed services, including asset management, help desk support, project management, cybersecurity, IT governance and cloud services. The company’s mission is to help businesses adopt and leverage technology to improve their operations and grow.
The Lloyd Group’s vision for the next five years is to continue moving upmarket, supporting not only small businesses but also larger companies in securely accessing and using their data. The firm will coach clients on adopting artificial intelligence (AI) into their workflows, creating new opportunities and jobs.
“In five years, Lloyd will have global reach but continue to offer a local touch,” the company said. “We will deliver on the benefits of scale without losing the importance of intimacy. Clients will still feel like we are not a vendor but an invaluable part of their business. Lloydians will live and work where they want. Our clients will outpace their competitors because we’ve helped them to utilize their data and technology in ways that others can’t. Lloyd’s brand will be synonymous with transforming businesses and inspiring people.”
The Lloyd Group has earned recognition such as inclusion in the Inc. 500 and Inc. 5000 lists, CRN MSP500 and MSPmentor Top 100 Managed Service Providers.
Eiseman serves on advisory boards and participates in organizations such as the Young Presidents Organization (YPO). He believes in the power of continuing education and has participated in programs at the Harvard Business School and MIT.
Eiseman is also an avid CrossFitter and holds certifications as a CrossFit Level One Trainer.
Eiseman is most proud of his 28 years of marriage to his wife, Sarah, and raising their two children, Charlotte and Avery. His dedication to his family and his commitment to creating a better future for his team members and clients are at the core of his leadership philosophy, his team said.
