According to Coreen Dicus-Johnson, president and CEO of Network Health, titans are passionate, visionary leaders that ignite in their teams and the community a spirit and drive to reach new levels of success.
“The results that my team have delivered continuously over the last seven years is evidence in part that I have demonstrated the traits and characteristics of a titan,” said Dicus-Johnson. “I work hard to show my team and my community that I live out this passion and mission and I invite my team to join me in this work.”
Network Health is a Wisconsin based health insurance company serving more than 118,000 people across the state. The firm’s mission is to build healthy and strong Wisconsin communities by offering coverage to Medicare beneficiaries, employer groups and individual and family plans.
The company recently completed a significant financial turnaround and is in transition to growth mode. “We have plans to grow significantly in all lines of business and to diversify our revenue streams,” said Dicus-Johnson.
These plans include adding an employee investment plan to ensure that the company provides the culture, structure, training and compensation that will support growth and help the firm to reach top decile performance in employee engagement. In addition, Network Health is striving to provide a best-in-class member experience with the experience excellence initiative. In addition, under Dicus-Johnson’s leadership, Network Health earned more than $1 billion in top line revenue for the first time in 2022.
“Coreen’s vision is that these two areas of focus will set the foundation for the three-year growth targets we have laid out in our plan,” said her staff. “We have built a strong reputation for quality and these efforts will only strengthen that reputation and improve both our members’ and our employees’ experience with Network Health.”
What ignites her passion is spending time with employees, meeting with insurance members and working with healthcare providers, said Dicus-Johnson. “I learn the stories of how our work at Network Health makes a difference in the lives of our members and their families,” she said. “We are not just an insurance company; we help our members, and their families navigate the complicated waters of the healthcare system.”
Since becoming a titan of industry last year, Dicus-Johnson’s greatest accomplishment has been maintaining Network Health’s award-winning employee engagement scores in the midst of adapting to a new world of work, said her staff.
For her focus on employee engagement while serving the community, Dicus-Johnson has been named a second-year Titan 100.
