As the president and chief visionary officer, Tami Marek-Loper finds that the best way to lead is by empowering her team. “I have learned to provide ideas and direction at a high level with goals and objectives,” she said. “Then, I take a step back and let the team do their magic.”

The Marek Group is a marketing execution company helping some of the country’s largest brands create and distribute personalized omnichannel sales and marketing communications at scale. There are three companies under one umbrella that offer channel marketing automation software, print, direct mail and marketing, promotions product and apparel, rewards and incentives services in-house with the ability to store and distribute through the firm’s fulfillment and distribution center.

Since becoming a Titan 100 last year, Marek-Loper said the firm has continued to look for new ways to retain clients and secure new clients through innovative solutions to drive out cost and improve time to market through their marketing supply chain. This has led to the acquisition of HighNote direct marketing services company in Louisville, Kentucky.

“This acquisition not only expands our footprint in a new region, but it allows us to be a Certified Woman Owned Business by allowing me to be the primary shareholder to keep the WEBNC Certification,” said Marek-Loper. She said the company plans to expand the 35-employee company in the near term twofold.

Under Marek-Loper’s leadership, the company has received accolades for its software platform, Triptych, for the third year as a leading Through Channel Marketing Automation company by Forrester and MarTech. “We are capitalizing on this accomplishment by revamping our go-to market strategy and position as a leader in this space with a high focus on data compliance,” Marek-Loper said. “By coupling our reputation as a leader in the space along with our SOC II certification, we plan to dominate the healthcare and insurance verticals with our solution.”

These accomplishments have been possible with Marek-Loper’s ability to foster a positive culture. “I have learned that culture is even more important than a feel-good set of words on a wall,” she said. “When employees know that they are surrounded by an entire company full of teammates who have the same passions and the same goals, it really makes a difference in performance metrics and profitable growth.”

For focusing on collaboration, growth and positive leadership, Marek-Loper has been named a second-year Titan 100.
