As a Titan 100 Hall of Fame inductee, Papanier Jr. said one of his proudest accomplishments in the past two years has been reaching the milestone of 100 stores for the franchise. “Achieving this goal was a testament to the incredible teamwork and dedication of everyone involved – from our franchisees and employees to our loyal customers,” he said. “From the moment I took over the franchise in October 2019, we set our sights on ambitious growth targets.”

Papanier Jr.’s focus has also been on fostering strong relationships with the company’s franchisees, employees and customers. “We have been able to create a culture of collaboration and trust that propelled us toward our goals,” he said. “We listened to their feedback, addressed their concerns and empowered them to take ownership of their roles within the organization.”

In addition to reaching 100 stores, PrimoHoagies Franchising also saw a remarkable increase in revenue, doubling the revenue of the 30-year-old brand in just five years. “This accomplishment taught me invaluable lessons about perseverance, the importance of building and nurturing strong relationships, and how those relationships ultimately impact the success of the business,” said Papanier Jr.

Moving forward, Papanier Jr. said in addition to geographical expansion, the company plans to focus on enhancing the customer experience through continuous updates to technology and strategies, leveraging cutting-edge technology solutions to be a leader in the industry. This includes an upcoming app launch and the introduction of a new loyalty program.

“I hope to leave a lasting legacy of innovation and excellence in the fast-casual dining industry by pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, embracing new ideas and challenging the status quo,” said Papanier Jr.

Papanier Jr. said he is passionate about leaving a lasting imprint on the world by introducing the word “hoagie” and the unique flavors of Philadelphia to people around the globe. “As a proud Philadelphian, I believe in celebrating the city’s rich culinary heritage and sharing our specialty Italian sandwiches with the rest of the world,” he said.
