From a young age, Ryan Weissmueller watched his father build and run his own restaurant business, and fascinated, the entrepreneurial spark was always with him. He developed a diverse skill set in large organizations like Deloitte and GE. After serving as an executive for numerous entrepreneurial companies, Weissmueller realized his dream to further serve the entrepreneurial community by founding Fintrepid Solutions in 2016.
Fintrepid Solutions is comprised of business growth specialists who serve the entrepreneurial community by helping clients navigate challenges, and providing clarity and confidence so they can grow boldly.
“So many founders can easily identify the pain points facing them and their business, but struggle with what they need to solve them or where to look for solutions,” said Weissmueller. “By deeply understanding the founder and their business at a point in time and where they want to go, we can develop customized solutions to fill the gaps for them.”
Almost 200 clients later, this approach has been the core of the firm’s success. “Ryan’s passion for the entrepreneur is contagious and has created an ethos at Fintrepid Solutions that is focused on service and delivering value to the entrepreneur and business community,” said his staff. “His relentless pursuit to foster this ethos has created cultural norms and behaviors focused on education, continuous improvement, seeing the gift in mistakes and failures, and incorporating integrity, empathy and trust.”
Under Weissmueller’s leadership, the company has expanded with offices in Tucson and Reno, Nevada, and expanded the company to serve clients in Arizona and five other western states. The chief executive officer has grown its team by 20%, has paid record bonuses, introduced new products, and supported dozens of clients to monetize their business, resulting in over $800 million of business sale transactions.
Weissmueller has led the firm to grow revenue by over 150%. The firm was also recognized as a finalist for the 2022 Phoenix Business Journal small business award and was awarded the best corporate financial strategy consultancy award by Acquisition International.
According to Weissmueller, he relies on his ability to be clearheaded and logical, as well as calm in decision-making in situations of extreme stress and pressure. “Anyone who knows me knows they can count on me to be level-headed when it feels like the walls are caving in,” he said.
He also views the entrepreneur as the hero. “Entrepreneurs are the ones who risk it all to build jobs, create innovation and propel communities,” he said.
