Prior to inventing patents, Scott A. Jackson created wealth and a large organization with thousands of vendors and over 100 employees but lost everything in 18 months. “It was the best thing that ever happened to me,” said Jackson. “I learned that money is only a thought. Think it and you’ll make it.”
Refusing to file bankruptcy, Jackson pulled out of the downturn in the business by creating a brand-new model that became the catalyst for his technology ideas. Leveraging recovered and new wealth, relationships, and know-how, Jackson took on the role of chief executive officer of a company now owned by Motorola, personally invented patents on license plate recognition, and grew the company to become the largest neural network of license plate recognition cameras in the world.
After an exit from Motorola, Jackson launched Endeavoring Property Holdings LLC with some victories in the private equity and real estate development but wanted something more to create the crown jewel of a feature. Thus, Endeavoring Capital LLC, was formed.
Endeavoring Capital LLC, has a mission to focus on helping people with health, balance and overall wellness. By creating biohacking hotels with world-class restaurants, the firm can help people live longer with a better quality of life and the byproduct is making money.
Jackson’s vision is to create eight biohacking hotels in cities like Aspen, Jackson, Miami, Houston and Los Angeles. The vision is to have an app that a customer can download from their home city that will direct them to the closest blood lab where orders will be waiting with on-site surgical centers and biohacking med spas.
“When people told me I would never be able to succeed in license plate recognition technology with large market-cap publicly traded companies in the space, I went out and created some patents and dominated the space,” said Jackson. “What we accomplished had never been done before and what we will do in the biohacking, wellness, and hospitality space has never been done before and we will get it done.”
Jackson’s success has been featured on Good Morning America and news channels nationwide and was recognized in Top 100 Magazine.
According to Jackson, successful leaders never give up. “Successful leaders care about people, but they’re not governed by what others may think about their actions,” said Jackson. “People may think your risks are crazy or not worth it, they may try and dissuade you from trying, but you must stay true to your vision – honesty, integrity and good character are more important than money.”
