Shannon Clinton joined SiteZeus Services LLC as a salesperson, a role that for five years was held by men. She quickly stole the show and proved to be a star performer, taking over partnerships and the largest territory, leading to her rise as director of sales in 2019. By 2020, Clinton was promoted to vice president of sales and restructured its sales department, created a new role of emerging manager, and by 2021, took over as chief revenue officer.
SiteZeus Services LLC is built for multi-unit brick-and-mortar and service-based brands aiming to master growth. The firms product-led SaaS platform centralizes site, customer, and operational data across departments and workflows to allow for smarter decisions, faster.
In her various roles, Clinton was instrumental in the firms partnership with some of the most renowned brands like McDonalds, Inspire Brands and Yum Brands. She also initiated and led personal selling, created a solution-selling framework and started a business development representative program.
As chief revenue officer, Clinton handles sales, support and the marketing department. She also has cultivated a culture of growth within the company and introduced quarterly leadership workshops. In 2023, Clinton held a key role in the merger and acquisition of Synuma while revising the go-to-market strategy for SiteZeus Services LLC.
Throughout her journey, Shannon has been a relentless leader, unfailing in her commitment to bringing in revenue, always solution-oriented, and a truly valued business partner, said Jorge Hermez, chief product officer. Perhaps what impresses me most about Shannon is her consistent impact on the growth of others.
From $1.3 million in 2018 to nearly $8 million today, Clintons leadership has seen the companys revenue grow exponentially. Among her most proud accomplishments is the growth of the individuals within the organization. Clinton has been able to turn non-paid interns into managers within the company. Watching them learn, grow and succeed is better than hitting any sales number, she said.
As a leader, Clinton said what has made her a successful leader is the people she has surrounded herself with. I have been fortunate enough to work in a company that rewards hard work and passion, and I have always felt supported, yet given the opportunity to make my own path, she said. I believe mentorship is a huge part of leadership and I have been lucky to work with some amazing individuals watching them succeed makes me the most fulfilled.
