The inspiration for Canviiy was born when the founder, Sherrel Sampson experienced an unbearable itchy scalp that would not go away. Sampson discovered that many scalp-related products on retail shelves contained harsh chemical ingredients and the product performance varied from runny, greasy, and oily viscosities.
Trying disappointing market products sparked the desire to formulate organic-based scalp health products that address the root of the problem for millions of people. Leveraging her beauty corporate experience, Sampson sought to tackle this unmet need. That wish became a passion, and that passion became a purpose for the Canviiy team, to craft a one-of-a-kind formulation to calm scalp irritation.
Canviiy is an innovative, organic-based health & wellness brand, most notable for its award-winning first-to-market proprietary scalp care collection, ScalpBliss. Headquartered in Tampa, the brands retail footprint has expanded to over 6,000 retail doors and is dedicated to improving the scalp health of cancer patients through leading cancer center partnerships including Moffitt, Harvard, and City of Hope.
Sampson launched the company and experienced very humble beginnings with a terrestrial approach by selling in local farmers markets in Tampa. In six years, Canviiy had grown a customer base that spanned 50 U.S. states and international regions that include Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Guadeloupe, and the United Kingdom.
Under Sampsons guidance, the firm has driven consecutive year-over-year double-digit revenue growth for the company since 2019. The firm has received recognition as the best conditioner for dry or sensitive scalp by SELF Magazine, cream of the crop beauty product award winner from Black Enterprise, and the best of scalp on-air product showcase by the CBMS Morning Show. Sampson has been named a rising executive by Florida Trend magazine and was a WMBI 2024 business & community leadership award winner.

She has keen experience identifying and developing multi-sector revenue streams and strategizing business partnerships to maximize impact.
