Brian Lammi started TEAM LAMMI Sept. 15, 2001 with one client and one phone line out of his one bedroom apartment while working on a folding card table in the living room. “Four days after the horrific tragedy of 9/11, people understandably did not want to talk about sports or business,” said Lammi. “However, our company slowly grew and now we oversee this company plus three others to be a leading sports and entertainment organization.”
TEAM LAMMI is a sports and entertainment firm, serving as industry leaders in talent, events, advertising, PR, and media. Under Lammi’s leadership, TEAM LAMMI has worked with a Green Bay Packer all time leading receiver, a Super Bowl champion, a Dancing with the Stars champion, an AMVETS humanitarian of the year and New York Times best selling author Donald Driver for over 20 years. TEAM LAMMI produces the “Inside the Huddle” TV show, entering its 24th season.
“My passion for our business is reignited by assisting our clients, partners and team members to translate their dreams to goals, and goals to action,” said Lammi. “Our team provides me energy every day, and it is a blessing to be together with a hardworking and committed team.”
His passion and hard work have led to several accolades in the industry and community. The Milwaukee Business Journal named Lammi as a top 100 power broker in each year of the list’s existence. Lammi has also been awarded the ethical business leadership award by Concordia University Wisconsin, a 40 under 40 by the Milwaukee Business Journal and named a Susan G. Komen BigWig. He has served on the board of directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Donald Driver Foundation, Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame Foundation and Special Olympics Wisconsin.
In five years, TEAM LAMMI will be embarking on its 30-year-anniversary, and is focused on expanding throughout the country, said Lammi. TEAM LAMMI is positioning itself now for continued national and international growth to provide a wide array of opportunities to its athlete, team, event and broadcasting partners.
“Our team of twelve is small but mighty, and we are looking to grow that team by opening satellite locations in new markets over the next five years,” said Lammi. The company’s five-year strategic plan includes a revenue goal that will double.
Encouraging his team members to pursue their passions is what Lammi attributes to the company’s success and growth. “We encourage collaboration and an open-door policy for improved communication and ideation creation,” he said. “And, with an NBA basketball court, two rooftop decks, a movie screen, pool table, three bars and a beer tap, creativity is always right around the corner.”
