Recognizing 100 CEOs & C-level Executives

Sarit Singhal has always been someone who sets ambitious goals and keeps them close, quite literally. His friends can confirm that Singhal has a habit of writing down his aspirations, carrying them in his wallet and sharing them with everyone he meets. One such goal, set during his college years, was to start a company by the age of 40 – a target that seemed natural for someone who had been brainstorming and working on business ideas since high school.

After earning a degree in electrical engineering, this led to a contracting role at P&H Mining, where his performance caught the attention of the company’s chief information officer. The chief information officer was so impressed that he asked Singhal what it would take to keep him long-term. He shared his goal of starting his own company, and with the chief information officer’s support, he bought out his contracting agreement with a staffing firm. Thus, Superior Support Resources was born, with Singhal as its sole employee, initially working exclusively for P&H.

Superior Support Resources Inc. is an information technology firm with a mission to advance, protect, and support organizations with the right technology and resources to compete globally and thrive locally.

“My passion for the business is continuously fueled by a commitment to learning and personal growth, both in life and in business,” said Singhal. “I believe that every challenge presents an opportunity to discover new insights and improve, whether it’s through developing new strategies or deepening my understanding of technology’s role in the marketplace.”

Under Singhal’s leadership, the firm has evolved into one of the most successful IT consulting firms with an additional office in India. In just the past three years, the company successfully implemented the EOS framework to optimize operations and foster alignment across all departments. This transformation resulted in a 15% increase in operational efficiency, a sharper focus on key priorities and an improved organizational structure.

As a result, Singhal has led the company to receive recognition as a best place to work for three consecutive years and was named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies nine times.

As a leader, Singhal relies on a collaborative approach. “At the heart of my enthusiasm is a deep connection with people, and I firmly believe that business is about building personal relationships,” he said. People work with people—not companies. This principle drives me to engage with our clients on a personal level, understanding their unique challenges and helping them leverage technology to compete in a global market.”
