As the daughter of a navy veteran, Dr. Michelle Graham is no stranger to hard work, discipline, and a life of service. Her career journey is a personal one and one that began with a life-changing medical diagnosis. Her aspirations as an educator quickly transitioned to a committed life of service as a medical professional following an arduous personal journey with health care.
Graham now serves as a market Chief Medical Officer (CMO) with UnitedHealthcare’s Medicare division. UnitedHealthcare, as part of UnitedHealth Group, offers a full range of health benefits, enabling affordable coverage, simplifying the health care experience and delivering on its mission to help people live healthier lives and help make the health system work better for everyone.
As a market CMO, Dr. Graham has leveraged both her clinical and business acumen to become a trusted executive who will share the truth, have a difficult conversation, and work tirelessly to best serve everyone with win-win results. Primarily, Graham said she is committed to moving toward population health and value-based care to better provide higher-quality and lower-cost care to the members and communities served.
